I'd hardly call the 288GTO (the car you're referring to- the F40 was developed from that) "stillborn".

Ford owned Aston, and the DB7 was, arguably, the greatest fruit of that union ... not saying much. That said, you can definitely "rip off" a heritage you had no part in building, and cannot really claim with the stroke of a check.
Which reminds me: has everyone just gotten over the fact that BMW-powered Nazi bombers…
I'm just happy it doesn't look (that much) like an Aston-Martin ripoff.
I am God's dairy-based condiment of choice.
You, sir, are glorious, golden God.
Let's not forget there's a Ferrari F430 under there ... or that this "new Stratos" makes the exotic Ferrari look like pedestrian roadkill.
Yeah, but 81 hp in the early 80s isn't 81 hp today- it weighed very little, ran with the Honda Preludes/Toyota Celicas of the era, all while looking very much like the baby Ferrari that it was.
I agree with this 100%. The one I drove had the CVT, and it never dropped below 3750 rpm. It was a blast around Chicago ...
Must have been the same guy what penned the Chrysler TC by Maserati ...
The Lancia Beta Montecarlo/Scorpion. I mean, it was terrible, the brakes locked up if you looked at it wrong, and it rusted to dust before you could drive it off the lot ... but just LOOK at it! Also: Lancia 037.
The BMW M5's "engine audio track". http://jalopnik.com/5973177/this-i…
Our first car that we showed to anyone was a 1000 HP Porsche called "Sledgehammer" (because AMG had a Hammer, and- you know, we're dorks). LOTS of people called BS when we said it would run 9s all day long. That car is still in customer hands, on the same engine.
100% ... but when we started Switzer it was 3 guys in a garage, and that was in 2008. Not that long ago.
I'm not here to start s*** or defend these clowns' claims ... but I feel like people called BS on me n' the boys a few weeks ago when we claimed 1500 hp. Until, you know, this: http://joborras.kinja.com/video-goliath-…
While some of that is undoubtedly true, whoever is behind this is a conman pushing dreams to a wealthy kid, most likely, who knows more about how he's related to which sheik than he does about cars. I promise, this car is bullshit.
THAT SAID, if it is making 5000 hp, it should do better than all that!
OMG! That's my Scoupe!!
The worst part of this video is the part where Tanner Foust is just "Tanner Foust" and the text comes up to explain why you should care who Roy Hill is.
They're my favorite.
You realize Lohan has posed nude a few times, right?
I was going to correct you and say "You mean 'lose their way', right?", but I thought about it. "Loose" is better.
