A sub-12-second pass at over 124 mph in a 1st gen Chrysler minivan. It doesn't get any more awesome than that, people.

HA! Awesome - and it wasn't even me what posted it!!
So you're saying it's not management's fault if they don't properly manage their employees? I mean, I get what you're saying - but that's what supervisors are for, and - for that matter - what communication is for. We have facetime, Skype, IMs, webcams, email, etc. There's no excuse for that to go on. It's as…
YEAAAAAH DERBY!! (no. 6)
The most mind-blowing thing about all this is that most of these shops don't close after something like this. Delays are one thing when you're exploring new territory, but avoiding stuff like this is why the most reputable shops don't turn customer cars into development cars.
That's enough self-promotion for one day,…
Fantastic!
Rumor at the time: Lumina was supposed to be a side-brand, like Merkur, Sterling, Acura, Eagle, Geo, etc. that didn't happen. I just remember we had a 246 for a while, when I was SUPER young. I remember it being broken always (and we had Lancias and Renaults, so it really took SOMETHING AWFUL to stand out, reliability-wise). It went away very quickly, and - though we never bought it - my ride in the 308 was life-altering.
Same here - why does it get so much hate?
Absolutely nothing! Right tool for the right job ... it's the idea that you'd want to drive one of those things withOUT needing one for work that blew my mind. I love trucks, even, have owned a few - but not if I didn't need to!
