Yeah, I don't know why everyone insists the only alternative to Avery committing the murder is the police committing the murder. I'm more inclined to believe that Officer Colborn found her with the truck and realized the opportunity he had, that he could help make a conviction against Avery stick.

I'm very curious about what Penny Beernsten thinks about the doc, too, after listening to this podcast from a couple years ago. She talks about how the murder conviction made her question her judgement, that she'd been wrong about Avery not once, but now twice:
