When NYC hip hop was the big thing in late 90s I was in London and met soooo many English guys with the full on NY look along with AA vernacular in a New York accent. As an NYer it was the most bizarre thing I’d ever seen. It was like if people over here decided to speak Cockney.

At 21 it depends on the person. I generally found at that young side of “legal” that the ones who were dating much older men tended (not always, but tended) to be the least mature.

If I remember correctly, Britney Spears’ mom was absolutely a proponent of this and “dated out” her pre-teen daughter out to like, the HS star quarterbacks and other “well to do” sort of guys in Louisiana. I mean, whether anything sexual happened I don’t know but still. So freaking creepy.
