I think I responded to this earlier, but let me go with another angle and say what my intent was with this specific statement: All I'm saying is that President Trump said something that sounded relatively good for him. Certainly it doesn't erase the fact that he's not only the worst president in history but the worst

yeah, things have gotten heated. care to clarify what your beef is with me (based on this conflict alone?). My gut instinct is to also tell you to fuck off, but I'm going to change my tone and try to be entirely civil in my response if you want to clarify.

OK, made that up, I'm ranked in the top 17th but I can juggle

Sorry if I was being a little harsh

That hasn't been tried 8 million times before either? Get shorty, Dirk gently, 21.jump street, the last 2.seasons of Archer, the other guys, etc

how about we just mutually declare that we want the other to fuck off, is that easier?

that makes me feel better, thanks. Their are a lot of smug ppl who get high on being mutually self righteously liberal w one another

I'm actually ranked in the 12th percentile in both IQ and ability to make reasonable arguments

Oh my god, I know, why is Cillian Murphy not in more movies? He only seems to show up in Nolan's movies.

I just read the book 21: Bringing Down the House about blackjack. It's another instance where the movie adaptation is so much more bland then the real life story. This could have been an awesome movie and not something tucked away in January of the calendar year, but the movie is so so awful.

I did win a Nice Guys t-shirt at a promotional trivia contest, so occasionally people ask me about the film when I wear the t-shirt and I have to tell them I didn't watch the film. I feel like I've seen way too many private eye films to care, but Russell Crowe is actually my favorite actor so there's that going for

I got banned from AVOCADO and it's really heartbreaking sometimes. I politically clash with them and I don't think I should apologize for it either but the place is definitely skewed to people who agree with them politically with little room otherwise. Also there are many outlets outside of politics. I try to explain

what are you referring to in regards to Kinja?

My week in journalism:

I finished Ozark and, goshdarnit, I liked it. I think by the last 3 episodes, it really gels. I agree that it's very reminiscent of a number of other plots like Justified or Breaking Bad or more recently Shut Eye, and it's biggest weakness is not explaining us the mob infrastructure in this case very well (how can Del

yeah, I did see Now You See Me and ranked it relatively high on my 2016 list. It obviously makes no sense but it's a pretty fun flick, I thought the chemistry between Dave Franco and Lizzie Caplan was non-existent though. It's also fun to see Jesse Eisenberg having fun.

Wow, that is surprising, a politically tempered article on Trump. I applaud the AV Club for not just raining down on everything Trump says on instinct here. (and to be clear, I think Trump's presidency is the biggest self-inflicted disaster in national history)

yeah, my dad has some knowledge. He knows the beatles of course and a few others.

One last 1997 week memento:Improv Everywhere (a pretty cool site you all might have heard of, I have no idea [and no affiliation with them]) did a 1997 photo booth in 2005, haha

I guess my answer might be Lost in Space or Men in Black to emphasize the transitionary period movie blockbusters were going through.
