Honestly, this is exactly what I fist thought about, too! As a white woman, I was like, ‘yeah but even if this wasn’t a bullshit response in the first place, what was the last thing white women did collectively...get Trump elected? Yeah, we don’t deserve any sort of shout out.’

This reminds my random mind of a story, where my husband had a ‘friendship’ with a goose who lived in the park-area around his workplace. He named her Gertrude (or Gurty, like the character in ET), and he really liked her. Then, one day, She was out there hanging out with Richard, and my husband was over the moon!

I once mentioned to someone that I hadn’t got out of bed all day due to my longterm illness and they said ‘It must be nice to have that luxury of lying around all day’ and even though it was probably just a case of an idiot not thinking before they spoke, I will remain bitter about it until my dying day and then float

I don’t understand how people who think this escaped childhood without asking their parents why there is a mother’s day and a father’s day and yet no children’s day and receiving the standard answer: that every other day is children’s day you spoiled rotten weasels. That important conversation has served my white ass

Do the same thing I do when someone prescribes something to being something “black people do”: Tell them there are plenty other people who do that shit too and they definitely aren’t all black.

So, I want to be an underdog, but in power. Pretty please!

“In America you can’t even talk about whiteness,” said Drew Domalick, who lives in Green Bay, Wisconsin. “If you try to embrace being white, you are portrayed as being a racist”
