So your suggestion is that because EPEAT is flawed, that Apple shouldn't care about how their laptops can't be recycled? Gluing the battery in is a design issue. It probably makes the laptop thinner, it makes it less user-fixable, and gives a limit on how long that laptop can be used before it's done.
