Who would drink 12 cans?  Sucking from a 2 liter is so much easier.

I grew up in a small town and wore a women’s 12 by the time I was in 6th grade. It was a 3 hour round-trip to the big city and specialty stores with high, high prices until Payless came to town when I was in high school.

I bought SO MUCH stuff there and will love them forever.

I will always tune in when Tom Papa shows up.

Let us take a moment to mourn the passing of Hot’n Now which had the best fries ever.  Their locations were mostly turned into Checker’s/Rally’s and their fries are almost as good.

There was a WONDERFUL Hungarian restaurant in the red-light district of Vancouver BC just 20 short years ago. It had the best spaetzle I’ve ever had in my life. I was sad when I moved away and sadder still when I went back to visit and it had closed. No other spaetzle has ever come close.

Was 2008 the “surprise” snow that my co-workers have mostly managed to repress?

Several years ago, we spent a week at a condo in Aruba and my friends refused to let me buy a 25 lb wheel of gouda for our stay. That’s only 3.5 lbs per day, assuming that I don’t allow them to have any.

Still bitter.

Downside - who is going to build me a fire?  And fly my sister in to fight over it?

I have spent almost 40 years lamenting that you cannot buy pig’s tails commercially to roast over an open fire.  (I can pass on the bladder balloon.)

Does that include apple juice?  I will ALWAYS prefer that on cereal.  Orange in a pinch.  Milk never.

I turned on the wrong burner once and the cast iron pan burst into flames. It takes a long time for that smell to go away.

Yes!  I was going to have to mention baby Tom Hanks.

I followed the asterisk to the bottom and was surprised to see an actual comment. I just expected to see “Yo.”

His tiny hands lack the grip strength to lift a whole slice of pizza at once.

High school breakfast most days = cottage cheese and Grape Nuts mixed into a paste and then COVERED with black pepper.  Mmmm mmmm good.

I am 40+ and could still live happily on Spaghettios straight from the can.  I joke that it’s all the cats and I will be eating when the earthquake strikes.

I live in Rashida’s district and I LOVE HER.  Pretty sure all of my friends and relatives not in this district are sick of hearing about her.

I would drink like crazy in college, then eat a heroic dish of poutine, chug a glass of water, and go to bed.  Zero hangovers.

Blackcurrant is underrated in the US. I had my first trip to the UK for work just over a year ago and went on a blackcurrant spree.  I still have a little bag of candies from the most recent trip.

But there are some jelly beans that are ONLY available at Easter! I stock up.

Chocolate is overrated.
