I was going with Todd from Bojack Horseman, but either way, it was nice seeing him cleaned up at the end :)

Me and my husband (both in our early 40s) had a longer conversation than I care to admit regarding whether or not this laundromat concept was realistic. We both had to concede that we literally have no idea what city-dwelling twenty-somethings would do in any given situation, and then we relaxed back into our

Oh, I was totally kidding about that :) Just reminds me of how we had no Alicia/Kalinda scenes for years.

Event though I didn't *like* it, I thought the Daryl episode was effective because it reinforced the mental torture the Saviors were putting him through. Without that episode, I wouldn't have bought Daryl being so thoroughly broken afterward.

When she came on screen, I was like ooooooh, that's some good pregnancy-hormone-hair!

The lack of Vee and Fiona scenes is starting to make me think I should be looking around for Hollywood gossip a la Marguiles/Panjabi. I hate it.

The only logical explanation is that Youens sees himself in Lip and acknowledges his own failings and wants to help Lip avoid that - total savior complex. Or some shit like that.

Gotcha. I agree that he's not an asset, but I sort of love his character (i.e., someone who can tell his own brutal, unapologetic truth without just being an asshole for asshole's sake lol), so I was curious what you didn't like about him. Debbie is officially the WORST, though. Like, right now, she's below Frank in

Agreed - though it was just the rotten cherry on top that they wouldn't expunge his record either, which I guess would make it pretty much impossible for him to transfer to any other decent school. I felt bad abotu that part.

Out of curiosity, why do you think Neil is awful?

Thx for asking - I was so confused by that whole thing!

Maybe it's more: tits=flaccid cock, as explicit female genitalia=erect cock (neither of which you ever see on tv). I've spent entirely too much time thinking about this now.

Don't most kids in military school end up there because they are fuck-ups? (I'm legitimately asking those in the know). I, too, am hoping that some kind of recommendation or charity from Dom's father gets him in. Wouldn't it be funny if Carl ends up being the most stable, successful Gallagher?

Agree. Not to mention, Ian's probably not on Tumblr.

I've never been more on Fiona's side in this shitshow than when Debbie admitted that she would never listen to Fiona as a boss, even if she gave her a job. This is part of the problem with Fiona taking guardianship - they never treat her with any respect or listen to her as a parent - always as a sister.

That hair, makeup and the purple/turquoise clothing color combo was working for her like gangbusters. I thought she looked amazing in those scenes.

I was marginally hopeful, at least until watching some more of these episodes this season. Sigh.

Good point. I think I had blocked that whole relationship out of my mind lol

I thought Caputo's reaction to the gun was a bit out of character. He was already pissed off at her/MCC about the chain gang shit and trying to get her to stop interfering in his conversation with Sophia's wife. I thought for sure that would be the straw that broke the camel's back. Disappointing.

Agreed. If shitty Modern Family can run the table on nominations, Veep should be able to do better.
