Funnily enough she's the one affair that I *always* remember because they were so good together and she kicked ass as a character. I always still harbor this stupid hope that Don and Rachels' paths will cross again.

I am loving this show so far. But I'm biased to pretty much anything that Laurie Metcalfe has done or will do in the future.

I can't help but think they're trying to out-pun the Dexter credit sequence, which, I've always loved.

I feel bad saying this bc clearly he has some issues, but Ryan is *so* high maintenance. This pairing is starting to drive me a little crazy. The thought of Amber being married to somebody you have to walk on eggshells with makes me sad. And given next week's previews, this problem is not going away. Ryan's a nice

"Stephanie wins with her grilled pickled artichokes (I believe), which
are talked up so much in the opening scenes that those of us on the
couch here guessed she was going to win right off the bat."

All I noticed about the music is that they finally wised up and cut that disgusting theme song down to two seconds, so yay for that!

I was worried when I read the review that I was going to scroll down and be the only person who thought this same thing. This just proves that last week's B-plot was bad primarily because it was Peter and Jeremy, rather than Peter and Morgan. I think these two play off each other really well. Most of the laughs I

"The Gang Turns Tara Into Rickety Cricket"

See, I never feel like Stuart's efforts with Wade are genuine… Like, if he hadn't needed to use Wade's apartment pool for his party, he would have inevitably either not invited him or ignored him the whole time. He uses Wade's unconditional friendship because he has very few real friends. I can't help but feel like

For me, it's better way better than Hello, Ladies. I like HL but I don't look forward to my half hour of discomfort each week. Family tree is sweet and funny and hard not love.

I think Hershel's character is getting a Carol-style revamp. All of season two and much of season three I found him to be irritating or inconsequential, but now he's awesome.

That's my thought, too, but Sarah Wayne Callies was in the credits all last season I think, so I'm trying not to keep my hopes up.

This whole time I was thinking that she wasn't even really sick and just wanted into the ward for the opportunity to do some weird shit (particularly when I thought she was somehow responsible for the burnings). She didn't really look sick until the end of the episode, but I guess I believe it now.

Hank and Max together = comedy gold. I actually can't get enough of them together and loved that they had quite a full scene this week.

Blerg. I couldn't think of the damn parent company name :P

One other thing that made me laugh was the chefs' interpretation of "family style" dining. They basically made individual portions all served on one plate. Was hoping to see things done a little more rustically/home-y.

I agree that straight cheesecake would be too obvious, but cheesecake-adjacent (ex. savory, or with a unique flavor/usage of the fresh produce) would seem to be a smart choice, even if not a winning one.

While I totally agree with you, I think your original comment in this thread came across a bit condescending - hence my passive aggressive sarcasm :)

I would upvote this more times if I could.

The fact that not a single chef scoffed at the idea of the cream cheese challenge was proof positive that they had to edit the hell out of this episode so as not to piss off Philadelphia.
