You misspelled The Dark Knight.
You misspelled The Dark Knight.
It feels like two things are obvious:
Those three you mentioned are not stand outs. They are firmly in with the rest of the films, there is not a single thing special or outstanding about them, With two of them being actively terrible films.
Yep. A lot of it seems to be coming from like twenty-year-old dudes on Twitter who’ve never lived in a world without extended shared universe franchises and think of standalone movies as these freakish exceptions to the rule.
Not only that, but like... as much as I enjoyed No Way Home, the entertainment I derived from it was almost solely because I got to see the return of characters I never thought I’d see on screen again. It’s really good junk food, but it’s still junk food. It doesn’t really have anything to say; I didn’t come out of it…
They should engrave in smaller text at the bottom “James Bond Will Return...”
If you don’t want a slideshow look up Stranger Things season 4 in Google and you’ll have plenty of non slideshow options. And remember kids, slideshows suck but not as much as Herb does.
Star Trek, since it’s beginning, has never been for them and never will be. I don't know why they don't get that.
How? The main villain of the movie is the Riddler, a Bruce Wayne rogue. It wouldn’t be the first time Terry fought one of Bruce’s villains, but the Riddler’s story in this movie was tied entirely to Bruce and their dynamic just wouldn’t work if you swapped Bruce out with Terry. Not to mention the plot twist regarding…
Unfortunately it couldn’t escape The Animated Series’ shadow (Justice League Unlimited was still using the character at the time), and it was the first of 3 Batman cartoons within a decade.
Nah, man, that shit sucked
The biggest problem is people still comparing everything this show does to BTAS, not anything that’s inherently bad in itself.
Gah, too late to edit: Had the timing a bit off on Justice League, “The Batman” premiered after season 2 of Justice League, which then transitioned into Justice League Unlimited.
It was airing concurrently with JLU not after. It’s why there was a Bat-embargo on JLU. WB wanted to reserve those characters for The Batman.
“Since this was before the villain transitioned into being basically a serial killer, his crimes are sinister while still being incredibly goofy, and the show knows how to make him menacing in some pretty inventive ways.”
I actually did read an interesting design article somewhere (maybe here, maybe elsewhere) that discussed how proportions for pokemon have changed.
“...I’ve given up on trusting the franchise not to make any originally cute, four-footed creature bipedal. (We all remember Delphox. And Incineroar. And Blaziken.)“
definitely the aging out thing. This has always been the case for Pokémon. Heck, the point of the designs from early on was to try to have designs that kids could easily draw them themselves.
Heck this is the first time in a long time that I see most people (including 30-something millenials. This includes me) actually…
You’ve followed your own logic to its natural conclusion here: that Charlize Theron, the alleged victim here, owes YOU something, or else your perceptions of her become colored a certain way. Powerful stuff, you’re doing God’s work.
