I agree. I watched a DIY video on how to rebuild a rotary like that. Just get a good kit, watch videos on youtube where others have done the same thing, follow the instructions and take your time.

People think it’s like 1983. This is an amazing price for this car. I would buy it right now if it were close and I am far from a Mazda fan. 

In any other part of the country, this would be a $5,000 car not running.

One data point on the car:According to the CARB website, it was last smogged (and it passed) in 2014. So it’s probably been sitting for around 5 years. (Which seems better than 20....)

If the owner threw the engine away entirely and offered this at $1500 it would still be a NP. A straight bodied, rust free ‘70s RX-7 for under $2k?  NP all day.  Especially in Yellow
