This is the most ridiculous comparison... You can’t compare a UHD image on a non-UHD capable monitor.

This is not what HDR looks like.
Apparently stong/light enough for a space elevator. 4600atoms down 35+ km to go!
What’s it’s strength to weight ratio? Bring on the space elevators!
The CPU hit won’t be as massive as the GPU hit, but it’ll still be there, and the CPU in the PS4 is NOT up to the task.
I think the 4K part is just to allow the consoles to display video at 4K. Right now, PS4 and XBone are incapable of displaying Netflix, Amazon, and Youtube above 1080p, or playing 4K Blurays
Bit ahead of yourself there... the headset doesn’t run at 4k resolution.. 4k would be for the tv, and the increased power would benefit the headset to run at 1080p/90.
I’m doubting the 4K part. In order to achieve that at 30 FPS consistently you are looking at a substantial CPU and GPU upgrade. We’re talking aboost up to at least a current gen i3 or last gen i5, and over twice the GPU shading power of a PS4 so greater than GTX 970 or aorund GTX 980/980ti territory.
