TBF joining a family that once colonized so much of Asia & Africa and continues to live off those riches was always going to be a difficult affair.

My favorite Christmas movie still has to be Home Alone. Trump has forever ruined the 2nd one for me.

<jerk off hand motion>

This was such a great, motivational sound off from Jon Favreau:

My dad sent me this tweet with the caption “remember when you did this to me?”

Maybe it works different for immigrant households who don’t celebrate Christmas, but I think I’d go absolutely nuts if I didn’t see my family at least once a month. We’re very close to each other, talk & text on the phone daily and are particularly close to our extended relatives.

He needs to stop with the fake laugh every time a celebrity makes a joke. It’s transparently phony. Also, stop interrupting your guests!

Is there any way for Justin to help Catt? Can he threaten to quit?

Jason Kennedy should do the right thing and use his position as leverage to get Catt the salary she wanted. I know he’s not the villain; he’s just a beneficiary of the privilege he has, but he’s also Catt’s friend and as she says, like a brother to him.

I cannot even begin to comprehend the pain & suffering these people go through. On top of all that, they need to summon whatever energy they have left to keep going or meet the same fate as their relatives and friends.

Who am I kidding? Put this directly in my veins.

“Let’s make a modern adaptation of a 1960s heist film that was poorly received and replace Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin with the dude from ER and Jennifer Anniston’s beau.”

“feeble minds and even lesser intellects”

The only thing I’m disappointed by is Anne Hathaway being the mark. I imagined her as the rookie that would be under Cate and Sandra. Ah, well. Still looks great.

Durr, politically incorrect BS. I wonder how many of these women would like to live under SHARIAH LAW1!!!!!

Apparently, Matt Damon is in it so he’ll probably reprise his role from the Ocean’s trilogy.

Women are going to tear each other apart for the crimes of men.

Setting aside the vile misogyny, it’s another example of how men don’t know anything. Minnie Driver is gorgeous and she was perfect for the role (in an otherwise pretentious movie).

OMG the DVD of that series was in the library. I’m going to get it tomorrow.

It was good! The only thing I would say is that while Matt Macfadyen is adorable, I just didn’t really think he had chemistry with Kiera. Which is funny because they ended up making another movie together (Anna Karenina).
