The funny thing is, most of the good reviews for that show were coming from older white women who wrote for NYer, Slate, Salon, etc. Most of my own friends hated it and just thought it was privileged BS. 

I wasn’t surprised (at Lena’s reaction) when I found out exactly who Aurora Perrineau who was. I’m all like, “well, of course Lena would side with a white dude over a black girl. Of course!”

I remember awhile ago how Spacey had started a theater mentorship program in the Middle East for young actors there and I was so excited. Now, all I wonder is if he was just doing it for a whole new set of victims that don’t have few venues to lodge complaints. I hate thinking like this.

He always struck me as a gross comedian with strong misogynistic undertones in his performance but so many liberal guys I know loved him. He sounds so much like Adam Carolla or Bill Burr but because he has all the right politics, he’s fine I guess?

I think I’m the only nurse in the US who doesn’t watch the show. We have stacks of Grey’s Anatomy/CSI DVDs in the break room that people periodically go through. I don’t know why, it’s truly terrible. Meanwhile, my SVU boxset which I brought from home is still untouched :-(
