Nancy Pelosi has been a great leader of the House. This is so insanely stupid.

This is the greatest thing I read today.

This is one of those articles that let you know everything you already believed to be true but laid out with facts & stuff:

Typical immigrant.

It’s hard to catch up with everything that’s happening in the news, but Trump is trying to jeopardise Obama’s most important foreign policy achievement by imposing new sanctions on Iran:

This is a smart take on Putin’s meddling of the elections from a former CIA station chief:

As a Muslim, I think 52% is far too low and there’s significant work to be done. But I’d say one of the reasons why the tide is shifting is because LGBTQ+ activists have been on the frontlines defending Muslim rights and opposing some of the most hawkish elements of US foreign policy like the Iraq war.

So tacky. It’s like they’re a bunch of villains in a 90s Disney movie.

This incident will always be seared in my memory.

This guy passed a virtually useless law to “ban” Shariah in Kansas, singling out American Muslims in his state who never sought it in the first place:

Yeah, I haven’t seen Westworld. Only bits and pieces. This trailer was just too much for me.

Yeah, I envy people who watch those violent scenes and not let it phase them. I remember not being able to sleep for awhile after the Red Wedding scene in GoT.

It’s probably an unpopular opinion, but I can’t stand shows like this and GoT/Walking Dead because of the overwhelming amount of violence. It doesn’t feel like it serves a purpose except to see your favorite character die an awful death.

I get the nagging sense he’s going to do really well at this position. Sean was just a boilerplate Republican. Tony is a real believer, and probably a sociopath.

Yeah, she runs a private practice with a male doctor who has around a decade of experience more than she does. Still, most of the patients want to go with her.

My mom is an OB-Gyn that graduated from the American University of Beirut. Her classmates at medical school were mostly men who said they didn’t want to go into that field because they were told that most women wouldn’t want to be examined by them. She assumed it was just a cultural thing until she came to the States

Just to note, this is not the regular police but the Hai’a, a type of religious police. Their power was supposed to be stripped but they have been known to flex their muscles even now.
