It does seem like B5 has been hit a lot harder over the years than Trek and other sci fi shows. Really sucks going to cons and seeing panels slowly get smaller and smaller.

What makes that title sequence even more special, is that it was originally used by Bruce Timm and Eric Radomski to pitch the show to the network. They ended up reusing it for the title sequence as well, in its entirety.

Very true. I don’t love the formulation that Wayne is the disguise and Batman is his “true” identity. Unfortunately B:TAS had very little influence on the comics in that regard.
