Maybe he crashed because his windshield was so dark that he couldnt see out of it :P

LOL same thing happened in my 06 C class, all of a sudden light goes on dash to charge battery, then loss of power steering, only on mine the alternator pulley ate up a new belt I put on. Culprit? The rockauto idler pulley T_T

When I lost steering in my e36 I found out, after going underneath that in the steering column where there was suppose to be a u-joint at the end of the column was instead a bunch of string holding together the two end pieces.
