It wouldn’t be a new week without SOME dumb teen causing up a fuss.

Yep, rest of the trailer was fine, sounded very bleh. Then granddaddy showed up...my weakness.
Well played Bungie, well played. you magnificent jerks.
Yeah I hear ya, I hear ya. When Automata came out to rave reviews and everything, it felt like a great win for Yoko Taro. Even my friends paid attention to it, but of course NONE of them bought the damn game.
I had to google narrative vs story (I am sorry my high school English teacher...) but I can see where you’re coming from. Routes A/B were quite typical of many games (route B had the bigger twists for people NOT coming from the original Nier) but some of the unique gameplay changes were/are still refreshing (even if…
The music is pretty damn phenomenol. Kind of disappointed Nier didn’t get best narrative though, but Hellblade is also VERY very good (haven’t played Edith Finch so no comment).
Because it shouldn’t be par for the course. Bungie went through the growing pains of Destiny 1, so they should’ve gotten their act together for Destiny 2. The fact that they’re doing the SAME thing is infuriating to everyone.
Got a Switch a few weeks ago. This is definitely a purchase there.
This. This all the time. I get what both sides are saying on the issue, but people need to know which reviewers share their taste. While I appreciate Jason’s opinion, his taste and mine don’t always overlap and the issues he has aren’t always issues in my mind.
To be fair, other reviews I’ve read make it seem very MMORPG inspired (like before), so a waste of time to others may not be a waste of time to you.
Thank you for the video Tim, they’re always entertaining. And informative. And whimsical.
For posteriority’s sake, I’ve heard that he’s also one of the people that MADE the cheat software as well? Or is it, as the original (original) article states, he’s just technical support for it, so maybe not the original engineer but definitely someone who uses/promotes/updates the software.
Thank you for your post. I don’t have a gambling addiction, but I do recognize that I have an addictive personality, so I stay quite a fair bit away from any sort of casinos or games with microtransactions (Fire Emblem Heroes is my only game and I’ve only spent like 20 bucks on it). It definitely takes a lot of…
MGDMT hit the emotions today...damn good comic.
You must mean the third expansion right, aka Taken King ala D1? ;)
Not a deal breaker PER SE, but compounded with the other issues (e.g. not much to do at end game since all legendaries are the same, hard mode raid doesn’t give new weapons as rewards), it does not paint D2 in a positive light.
If you can see yourself still liking it a few years later, then go for it. Hobbies are personal preference and taste, though my metric is “will I likely still enjoy it a few years down the line?”
While I haven’t properly visited the great lakes yet (always traveling next to them), your 2 things sounds a-freaking-mazing. Kind of jealous that you get to live there!
With you on everything except the part of Operation Cinder being “the dumbest plan in the history of plans.”
