All of this. I was under the impression this series had exactly the number of episodes they needed to tell their story. It was a perfectly contained project realized in Damon’s vision. Let it end and lets all move on.

So some concept artist was all excited about designing the first ever live-action soulsword, and some exec was like, “but what if it was like a glowing venom knife that comes out of Illyana’s hand instead? Cool, huh???”

Yeah, I think y’all are confusing this with X-Force. New Mutants had a pretty good early run with some really remarkable artists. It was a while before Liefeld got to put his stink on some of those characters.

I think this is more of an example of the circumstances separating me from the artist and the art. As a once R. Kelly semi-superfan, I didn’t even have to make a conscious decision to stop listening to his music, it was more of a natural response not to. I regularly separate these artists and athletes from what their

I somehow had no idea about Reynolds or Kevin Hart in Hobbs & Shaw. Those little movie surprises are welcome in my book.

This is maybe my biggest gripe with the new trilogy. A galaxy far, far away with all these star systems (think about that for a second!) alien races and factions... and somehow we’re still stuck in the same old prime time soap opera trope of everyone somehow being related to each other. I was so refreshed to hear

... and (like other moments in the movie) it just comes off as super random and shoehorned in. A two sentence dialog between two people at the tail end of a movie with no reference to give it any mean whatsoever... other than to make me wonder if Lando was really trying to get at them panty drawers.

Is anybody anywhere reviewing or recapping this series by episode? I’ve only seen the first episode thus far. There’s usually a podcast, YouTube video or AV Club something-or-other covering this more closely.

I’ve suffered from sleep paralysis off and on since I was a teenager, so the TV is my lifeline for not having to deal with that nightmarish horror film experience ever again. But I have been using a TV sleep timer more often. I think having a special TV show or movie to mentally queue your brain to shut down works. I

I honestly don’t know why Watchdogs 2 was made to suffer from the backlash of the original Watchdogs. The tone and spirit of that game was completely different, fresh and new. And it still kept a lot of the mechanics that Ubi does tend to get right (loved the melee and parkour), but not lacking for personality like

Yeah, Mark of the Ninja: Hidden in the Shadows might not be so underrated, but it is one of the tightest, most beautifully perfect side-scrollers I’ve ever played. I’ve had my eye on Klei ever since (and even got to chat with them!). That was probably the fastest/easiest/most fun 100% completions I ever earned gaming.

I also just realized, after being sold on the demo, DA2 was the game that got me into the series in the first place. I didn’t play Origins until much later.

I was a one man marching band for Sleeping Dogs. I have to mention that I’ve never played a sandbox game where the fighting mechanics were that good (and yes, I actually had to learn how to fight while progressing in this game). I almost got bummed out when a conflict forced me to use guns. Sequel please.

I think what knocked the wind out of the project was how underwhelming The Defenders was. I have plenty of defense more the majority of those Netflix Marvel properties, but I have to admit I was let down by the culmination of all those properties when they teamed up. That said, I think there is a lot of good substance

I never once paid 3 bucks for a Redbox game rental. They have constant deals running, like every week. And I never rented a game from Redbox to beat it. But everything I wanted to try, or get some good progression on (a lot of times for free, or their customer service folks would hook me up every once in a while), I

I’m pretty sure Redbox did just that for me. Made some pretty good progression in that game, and I think it was a free rental. Redbox works (worked?) like a fricking charm if you know how to use it.

I mentioned, in the comments about the last Batwoman episode, that Nash Wells (the Indiana Jones ish Wells who is now Pariah) end scene after each of the Arrowverse episodes wouldn’t mean jack to folks who didn’t follow Flash and it would have been better served to have Crisis related scenes specific to their own

This sounds a little far-fetched...”

I can.

So when would be a good episode to jump in and catch the Crisis crossover in stride? I haven’t chimed in since the last crossover.
