Like trying to swallow a dry horse pill, I’ve tried to just accept the automatic cover system, but I HATE IT. More than anything else between this and Wildlands. Where I think everyone else just got used to it, I can’t stand having my head inadvertently poking out of corners and doorways in the middle of stealth and

Oh Lord, I had so many high hopes for that game when it came out.

Just checking to see if they added the AI Ghosts yet... nope? Aight then...

My for real answer is this tho... since nobody mentioned it. Next to Galaxy Rangers, Might Orbots was a one-season gem that still remains in my top 3 all-time animated shows. So weird and funky, and oddly ... sexual?

LOL! Fair enough, that is one of the best cartoon intros ever. I’ve recorded it on VHS a few times myself.

Obviously. I’ve had several versions of this between VHS and DVD. One of my all-time favs. That intro and that song. Some of those episodes go DEEP too. We’ll never see anything like it again. They’d probably just screw it up in a reboot come to think of it.

I just had a total “did we just become best friends?” moment there. My VHS collection probably had more episodes of Galaxy Rangers and Saber Riders than anything else. That Peter Cullen sound off...

That’s exactly the one and only sensible placement for this service. It will be the second streaming service I will come out of pocket for. They’ll stream in 4K no charge (for now) so it will be my solution for too-cheap-to-buy or too-lazy-to-get-off-my-couch-to-get Disney blu-ray content.

I’m here for Gargoyles, still waiting on the Wuzzles ...

Because a lot of that base doesn’t play video games, they just play from the 3 you mentioned. That money is already in the books before the release.

Partice’s Elephant in the Room might go down as one of my top 5 all-time comedy specials. I remember him being scheduled to come to my hood and my buddy and I were trying to get tickets to his show, but it kept getting delayed. Then the news hit some several weeks later. He had so much more work to do.

I think that is the big takeaway, from what we all witnessed at launch and the details in this article. They’ve been fighting an uphill battle to beat that horrible reveal, but they haven’t lacked for genuine effort from where I’m sitting.

That’s funny, cuz I never heard the LJ comparison before today. But I been getting a young LJ vibe from Zion, once I learned that he wasn’t 6'10" in high school. My analogy was always if LJ had a couple more inches on him coming out of UNLV (I swear dude is NOT 6'7" IRL), that’s the closest I’ve seen to the size,

Yeah, that name is the real crime. If HBO really wanted to make some money off this thing, they would act like they aren’t directly involved. People aren’t out here trying to pay for two HBOs.

NEVER! I’ll happily spend 5 hours creating a character... for a game I don’t even like.

Nah, I can’t even get through the trailer without wincing, and those are just small doses. To my eyes, its super noticeable. Maybe as a tech demo or a video game it works, but cinematically your pinning a fully fabricated human character against their exact, completely tangible counterpart.

They mentioned Sam Jackson

I do like that the rewards for the first and second level legendary bounties kind of save you from having to do the same regular bounties over and over. The past few weeks, I’ve just been leveling up the Bounty Hunter role solo through that. Then just focusing on Trader and Collector outside of that.

Which is exactly all Will Smith really needed. The thing about Sam in that movie, is I kept forgetting about the whole de-aging thing throughout the movie. Which is kind of the fricking point when using this tech. Movie magic, regardless of what era we’re in, should be there to actually fool the audience.

I immediately thought of Wild Wild West, helmed by the man who tried to murder Superman, “(Jon) Peters had three stipulations for his Superman project: Supes couldn’t fly, he couldn’t wear that outfit, and he had to fight a giant spider in the third act of the movie”. The bastard still got his giant spider too.

It’s not that Will was the wrong choice, it just made the technology Lee was so hard-up on using seem 10 times more unnecessary than it already was.
