Have you... have you ever heard Draiman sing? Dude has a voice and what do you mean autotune is obvious? I will agree, to an extent, studios tend to utilize autotune a bit too much, but that’s on the producers.

Yeah, those two pretty much discredit the entire list.  Sure, some people think the originals are untouchable, but you could find 2,500 covers worse that AAF or Disturbed.

I’m convinced that the editors of the AV Club sincerely have zero taste based on AAF’s cover of Smooth Criminal being on this list.

It’s on Xbox Game Pass if you have PC or Xbox. Wish I’d done that instead of buying it on steam.

No.

Also, Bob Camp (the co-creator of R&S) is a damn saint and one of the nicest artists I’ve ever met, and it breaks my heart that his work is being forgotten because of a dude he publicly distanced himself from 30 years ago.

Having known nothing about him as a person, it’s kind of eerie to see how exactly he matches the stereotype of the terrible Rick and Morty fan.

Yeah, he's a creep.

And weird that for some, all it takes is an internet rumor or some random person's word to judge someone and declare that they must lose their livelihoods. Weird, that.

True. He only beat his wife and children, so he’s all good, right?

No, choking children seems to be more his style if what is said is to be believed...

Roiland’s very distinctive voice is all throughout the entire game. Whether you can stomach that is up to you.

Beautiful people have different rules.

Sadly, that’s exactly what it is. It probably doesn’t help that his accuser isn’t well regarded by the masses.

Pitt feels a lot like Dustin Hoffman and Morgan Freeman in this case. Accusations were made and public reaction was basically “That doesn’t sound right, we like that guy” and they just kept working.

It boggles my mind why no one seems to be talking about this. Why have there been no demands for his cancellation? Others have been cancelled over a lot less.

So Justin Roland was found guilty? Damn, I missed the trial.

1883 was almost 140 years ago. A lot has changed.

This is the best response here. Props.

As someone all for trying to put more thought into the language used and it’s appropriateness going forward, I’ll ultimately have to admit this fell short of convincing.
