Protagonist-centered morality is wild.

Nope. I hear they are good but this game had me at Baldur’s Gate. The fact that the studio has other well regarded games is just another plus
It’s a local setting. So the game would censor if you asked for it to be censored.
But some systems make it worse:
More RPGs need to (re)embrace just playing through with a fairly static group of friends, as opposed to the numerous awful Coop scemes seemingly made to support random dropin/dropout stuff (or worse, the souls-like approach).
To be honest, I prefer “Across” and “Beyond” rather than Pt. 1 and Pt. 2. Imagine if there was an “Empire Strikes Back Part 1".
The color palettes in Gwen’s universe reflect her emotions.
Honestly the whole thing where they’re not including the different versions in the home release is kinda horseshit. You can have randomly-selected chapter swaps on a bluray to swap out chunks of a movie with random alternate versions, so you better believe that shit’s possible on streaming. 🤨
Now if only it wasn’t half a narrative with the other half currently in limbo.
Seriously.
I think that this makes a better case on why a game needs to be delayed more often (by the AAA studios). These mega publishers EA, Activision, Ubisoft, have the cash to delay a game in order to push out a finished, less buggy game, but they don’t. IT FREAKING Kills them in sales and player retention (MTX sales).
Destin is the main reason I stopped going to IGN/listening to their podcasts years ago. I’ve always described him as a knowledgeable idiot.
I respect that he made sacrifices for his job. I also couldn’t possibly count the normal people doing there jobs every day making sacrifices that should earn them awards. What folks give up just to keep a roof and a meal is getting f*cking obscene. Good for you, dude. Get paid, get an award, but I’m not particularly…
Seriously. Has no one seen Bowie playing The Elephant Man on Broadway? That was the most convincing performance of a tragically disabled person I have ever seen. No prosthetics necessary.
You really expect Chris Nolan to be able to relate to people who aren't him enough to be about to realise they sometimes need to piss when he needs to piss?
The Irish can be incredibly down to earth or incredibly full of shit. Lots of range
It feels like this is more preparation vs. method acting. If he was method, he’d be staying in characters refusing to go antiquing because Oppenheimer would never go antiquing. And his food intake wasn’t to stay in character, it was to stay thin. His food wasn’t driven by being as much like Oppenheimer as possible.
No, that’s a shitty power play tactic straight from the Jr High Teacher’s Manual of Shitty Power Play Tactics, right there.
“Why don’t you try just acting?”
