>>> “...he, Jim Lee and Dan DiDio are triumverate of mediocrity that have plagued DC for years now...” <<<

As someone who read the original books but nothing since: how is Superman — or anyone — a threat to Doctor Manhattan...?

Im glad theyve found another way to undermine all the shit we loved about Watchmen. This is a ridiculous gimmick! Set up to prepare people for the next permutation of Watchmen about to air on hbo. Which is hilarious anyway because people of a certain taste loved watchmen and most have hated all the bullshit cashgrabs

>>> “...makes me angry-bored...” <<<

Galactus doesn’t make sense as villain for a movie teaming up those characters at all. What the fuck is Daredevil gonna do in a Galactus scenario?

Picard will be the first officially canonical Star Trek material to be set after the events that opened Star Trek 2009"

If Jennifer Walters is the opposing council, I would start to feel a little interested.

But while the trailer keeps that “unimaginable” event hidden, we actually know what it is already—because Alex Kurtzman revealed in an interview with the Hollywood Reporter months ago that the CBS All Access show is actually set after an important series of events that inform the set up for the 2009 Star Trek movie

This so sorta why I hate DC, every other hero is reduced to wimp status when an all powerful super fight is coming towards Superman.   If u like Flash Or WW, it sucks cause they are wimps compared to superman or dr Manhattan,  insert eyeroll here.

This whole series has been so bad. There are so many things that don’t seem to have anything to do with anything that it I will be incredibly shocked if they all come together in the end.

I have to confess, I haven’t read anything by Moore since his 2016 prose novel Jerusalem, which at 1200+ pages is probably moore more Moore than anybody can want, need, or handle in a single lifetime. The scene where Number Six from The Prisoner watches Lucia Joyce and Dusty Springfield having sex, written in the

Crystal Skull.

He’s a relentlessly mediocre writer and as a boss has crapped over decades of stories and fans to bring back his childhood.

I hope there’s a moment where he has a grand realization about the meta-verse and Animal Man just tells him “...yeah, like 30 years ago, man.”

This is just gonna lead to him discovering comics in the last issue.

Geoff Johns is trying to make me like him and it’s not going to work. Do I love that he’s making Superman the literal center of the universe again (he did it once before in Infinite Crisis)?

Charles, I love you and as always this is good work. That said, this storyline makes me angry-bored, which I didn’t know was a thing.

Off the subject, but I guess resurrected Lex will become a hero for hire by the Monitor as in the COIE comics?

This is just about the most pointless and terrible cash grab of a comic I’ve ever had the pleasure of dropping. Someone should just pull the post flashpoint reality’s plug already.
