My neighbor got a blue Silverado recently. My wife tells me, “Did you see that nice looking truck our neighbor just got?”

Unfortunately, you still have to be seen in the 2019 Chevy Silverado.

… and poorly interpreted and rebroadcast by the author to create more fear and division

BMW has totally jumped the shark. These SUVS are pretty hideous looking.

It’s a necessity in North America because too many people don’t know how to drive with proper lane discipline and camp out in the left lane.

All hail Lord Musk: king of the asshats.

It may be legal, but it’s still asinine.

They built an automated system that intentionally passes on the right? That’s just asinine.

Or they could follow the SAE J1349 power certification standard and this wouldn’t be a problem.

1) The 15% loss is an extremely antiquated assumption. Modern drive trains are much more efficient.

2nd Gear:

“..it looks like a sort of G-rated version of Willy Wonka’s penis..”

Neutral: Nissan needs to look at where they’re making money, and allocate more funding there. They also need to go through and simplify their vehicle trims and options. They need that new Frontier and I’d argue a new Xterra along with it. I could say the Z and GT-R need updated (badly), but I’m not really sure that is

I drove a new Accord with their CVT - it was pretty normal. Altimas with CVTs are just crappy drivers - droney things. Awful cars.

1st Gear: Nissan focusing on rental fleet sales was a huge mistake. I’ve gotten a rental Sentra and Altima. The sense of automotive ennui was overwhelming. I have no interest in even test driving another Nissan. Ever.

Nissan has no brand identity, which I attribute to poor marketing. The only product they have with solid, effective marketing is also their only segment leader: the Rogue.

“I know they’re good cars to drive, but I’d feel like such an unbelievable asshole if I actually drove one.”

If I were running Nissan, I'd just boost profitability by cutting development spending on new models, especially in pickup trucks and sports cars - what they have right now is totally competitive, should be able to last in the market for another 7-10 years, easy.

This basically sums up how I feel about them. I know they are great to drive, but I can’t get over the looks. I’m not a fan of slamming/stancing cars or putting excessively large mufflers(fart cans) on cars and this seems to be standard mods for these cars. I just don’t want to be a part of that.

I just hate the modern Z cars so damn much. The gigantic bulbous back end just looks goofy as hell. I know they’re good cars to drive, but I’d feel like such an unbelievable asshole if I actually drove one.
