For what it’s worth, they lost a sale by not offering the Si Hatchback.

Oh God, fuck this. I have my misgivings about it too, but I am so done with entitled dipshit fans like these.
I don’t disagree at all. College has become as much about the “experience” as the education, covered up with euphemisms like “maturing into adulthood” and “discovering yourself”. It’s basically social finishing for the upper- or upper-middle-class (depending on the school). Nobody seems to mind that this “experience”…
This is a good point. I’m 33 and have been paying into social security since I started working at 14.
I’m....gonna get some of that back when I need social security....right?
Except that it’s a documented reality. As a Gen Xer, I got to see first hand the actions of Boomers, who’d nursed at the teat of a public education system the envy of the world, vote again and again to decimate that system whilst eliminating the social safety net their parents, the greatest generation, had constructed…
This is my work life. 3/4 of my team is made up of people who did retire, and came back as contractors to double dip. They have boats, and vacation homes on a lake up north, and handicap stickers so they can park closer to the building.
Everything surrounding student loans is absolutely insane on all sides.
I too get frustrated when I see Boomers who are more than able to retire and just refuse to hang it up. However, there are a LOT of boomers who simply can’t afford to retire. I think I saw the average retirement balance for boomers was less than $200,000 (which ain’t gonna cut it). Also, the boomers didn’t start…
As a Gen X-er, you’re wrong. We got fucked by the boomers in every way imaginable. We’re tired. Our parents still won’t fucking retire and are still telling us how to vote. We get told we’re stupid for wasting our money on shit that they would never buy or don’t understand. They told us that “you can never lose on…
Thank God I was young before cellphones
Gang violence, DUI, opioid OD...
Never understood why someone would dedicate a crappy car to the life of a loved one.
At this point, unless the decal clearly states that the person was their grandparent, I just assume it was heroin.
I’m giving a star for the “Im memory of” window sticker.
The only thing I associate the Trailblazer name with is all of the rusted out ones I see running around, most of which have a decal on the back that reads the name of some deceased person.
“In loving memory of ______. Gone but not forgotten or Only the good die young.” Bonus points if the decal also has the silhouette…
“Over the last 19 years, Mills has replaced the engine twice — at 375,000 and 695,000"
Not even 1/2 that! Not impressive in the least. I’m surprised more people don’t replace wheels! When I bought my car I tossed a new one on because the old one was worn. $50 for a brand new wheel-the most touched surface in the car
How many miles are put on spinning the tires after getting high-centered on speed bumps?
2 engine replacements?
10 Fusions? What percentage of Fusions sold 2009-2016 do you suppose that is? And would that be a statistically significant sample size?
