Our cat gets a puffy lip too at times. We haven't been able to find the cause, but it isn't anything to worry about..its usually just a histamine reaction. (My Mom smokes like a chimney, so it may be smoke- related in Rufus's case.) He's had it on and off forever.

I think it depends on how long you take to cool off. Restraint of pen and tongue are always a good thing. I don't see a problem, provided you tell the person with whom you are having the conflict that you need time out and will address the issue when you are calmer.

I'm so upset about this! I'm writing having just seen Jenny on Andy Cohen's show and she doesn't look like the same person! I loved her face and how unique her looks are. I really thought it must be someone else last night, not her. I guess if she's pleased though, that's what's important.
