Lol wut?

Ehr, no. Obama had more ellegance in his pinky toe than the Donald does in all his body fat.

Incorrect.

Not to suggest that you aren’t or that it’s your job but have you considered asking him (or more likely, his campaign staff) what can you do to help get the message out?

You can’t prove a negative.

Only truly stupid folks put words in quotes for emphasis. And in what way am I not thinking for myself? It’s entirely my opinion that you’re a troll.

You’re not very bright, straw man.

In our system, the person making the claim has the burden of proof. Trump made a claim based on a mis-reading of a Breitbart story. As president he could have proven the claim immediately...or perhaps could have asked his intelligence service before Tweeting about it.

Still waiting for Trump to prove any of his claims are true....

Do you have any facts to prove Obama DID direct surveillance against Trump?

No, Trump made the accusation, thus the accuser must prove its validity. That’s literally U.S. Law 101.

So when did you stop beating your wife?

I agree comrade friend! I too wish only for friendly family entertainment. This whole russian involvment in American election is all bulshevik yes?

You’re the one saying that burden of proof being on the affirmative means that you have to prove the truth that something is false. That’s not how this works.

Immaterial, either he has to admit he was making shit up or he did disclose things, both if which would have to be proved in court to proceed.

You don’t have to prove something is false, you have to prove something is true. Trump’s claims are false until proven true. That’s how it works here. Your defense lawyer doesn’t have to prove that you DIDN’T murder your wife; the court has to prove that you DID and the defense lawyer simply has to convince a

I think all the accounts in this thread are satirical, although maybe not intentionally.

A statement that defies everything we know about how the legal system and surveillance system works is considered false if there is not a shred of evidence to confirm it. The burden is not on the people reading Trump’s batshit insane tweets based on printed-out Breitbart articles to have to prove they’re not true. If

I’m saying that there’s no evidence that he did (or even knew that he could do so)

IMO That’s like saying I didn’t know I was breaking the law so I shouldn’t get in trouble for it. At that point he had EVERY resource available to him to verify those claims before he used his twitter fingers to rave about it. He should have checked in case something like this happened.
