Don’t crack up just yet. I think you’re gonna like this. I heard this story on WBEZ’s “This American Life” on my local NPR station this evening..

Jesus. This poster (You. Yes, you.) has hijacked every single thread in the comment section for this article. Would you people (not only you, of course) PLEASE quit engaging him/her. It’s getting so tedious! Such circular logic, no citing of any kind of reliable sources, countering questions with questions, moving the

Actually, in some states, the votes are actually tabulated (counted) by computer, but the results are not released. Employees, etc., cannot access the results until a specific point in time, either. I believe that’s mentioned in an article about Florida, but I may be wrong.

Helps to sit down and read the entire article fully instead of skimming it; I know because I make the same mistake often.

So, s/he doesn’t seem to know how early voting ballots are counted/reported, and now apparently doesn’t know how the Electoral College works either, even after trying to set you straight earlier.

He posted no fewer than seven posts claiming those were counted votes that were cast for one or the other candidate, rather than simply Democrat or Republican ballots having been received. I can’t wait to read his retraction.

Oh, for Pete’s sake. Election commissions cannot release any voting results until after the polls are closed across the country on election day, so what in the world makes you think they’re releasing the actual results already? They are clearly, in every frickin’ article I’ve read, releasing the number of Democrats

He’s definitely the reason I take out my copy of “My Dinner with Andre” and watch it once or twice a year.

I assumed it started with her affair with Yoko Ono.

Especially when you consider the fine will probably be funded by a hike in student tuition . . .

I think most people chip their pets these days. And I see very few people using a collar on a dog anymore—most people use a harness.

Worked for Derrick Rose . . .

God help me for starring your post.

Reminds me of the poster who asked what Tyson Gay’s teenage daughter was doing out at all hours of the night.

Hey—Rees-Mogg has done a bang-up job increasing his own wealth, which he, you know, inherited from Mummy and Daddy.

So, I really can’t imagine how the driver of a vehicle could see a young person in a track uniform running down the street and identify him as being autistic. They don’t wear signs, do they?

I’m guessing “boostraps” have something to do with her Halloween costume? They hold up her “boos,” maybe?

So then exactly when are people supposed to become sensitive to the dignity of others? At what age? College? 30? As seniors?

Then I’ll bet they love this story:

That’s possible. Good point. Thanks for offering it up.
