Agree. There were some things that didn't work this evening - I just could not bring myself to Fear the Wendigo - but under the circumstances it makes total sense to tie the Monster of the Week to the overall plot.
Remember last year when we were afraid Ichabod and Katrina's son was going to be like Connor? Oh, those innocent times.
There was one huge plus this evening that I'm surprised wasn't talked about more in the review: we got John Noble being seriously fucking evil, and that bit was SO COOL. Poor Irving.
