Definitely the best part by far of Zombieland 2, hopefully his part in this is a good one too.

Yeah, my first thought here is someone else from Hank Pym’s old orbit. Maybe a retired Cyclone or something.
The entire series is a rewrite. The trailer shows this clearly. Episode assumptions based on the anime just don’t apply.
Based on the adaptations they’ve chosen for season one it’s completely different in sequence than the anime, and based on the trailer shots the stories will involve different characters and settings. They may also be specifically avoiding having a kid in the hallucinogenic episode...
This is gonna feel weird, but stick with me, I’ve got a point.
The answer to that is simply why not?
Because there’s zero reason for Edward to be in the show this early.
I feel that way about sooo many properties. So many shows or movies do this incredible job of world/universe building, so rich with potential material, and then we follow the same 4 people around in remake after remake.
And, realistically, Edward is more of a “final season” character for lots of reasons.
I suspect that season 1 will end with Ballad of The Fallen Angels and they’ll start season 2 by introducing Ed. They might tease her in the finale, though.
Damn Jet Black sounds almost exactly like Jet Black. Trailer needs more Ein though.
I’m already liking Slightly Goofier Faye, I’m glad they’re doing their own thing. So much of what made the anime what it was feels like it’d be nearly impossible to translate to live action anyway. There’s a kind of stillness and atmosphere that isn’t really possible with real people.
Which of Chappelle’s anti-trans jokes do you think are provoking deeper thought? Was it where he misgendered his trans “friend” because she jumped off a building, which is supposedly something only a man would do? Was it when he said he gets worried when he sees a lot of Adam’s apples in the audience? I watched the…
What deeper thoughts is he provoking by comparing trans women’s genitals to fake meat?
This is a part of this whole thing I wonder about: He’s going to be feted and courted and praised by the right wing up to the hilt. His future show that he’s planning is going to have a lot of “anti-snowflake bros” in the audience (all this I’m guessing at but having just watched it, I would be willing to bet on it).…
Yeah, he’s on tour now and is literally using the fallout from the Netflix special as material for his standup. I’m unsure how people could look at the timing and everything else together and not see how the whole thing was a publicity stunt.
Or, more likely, Chappelle is just an asshole.
Man I wish Dave would have someone sit him down with like a highlight reel of Trump being pathetically touchy about personal criticism, and the way he reacted with such aggrieved pettiness, and just say
LMAO!!! I hope this was you being ironic!
