The finale has one INCREDIBLE scene, some things I like, and then is interminably dull and pretentious...

I won’t say it’s a bad season, but it ended up so... boring. That’s probably the worst place it could go. If it was a complete disaster, sure. At least consistently good. Boring is... just boring.

bang on. we already knew all of this.

Moss-Bacarach was recently on a podcast and talked about making season 3 and 4, and frankly... it doesn’t sound like a great process. Add in cutting half the writers and rumours swirling about writers being paid shitty/not receiving residuals.

Agree. I am not fond of the recent decade’s over-emphasis on “plot above all” that creeped into critique and certainly online discourse (blame cinemasins).

It’s infuriating how smug and condescending you are with your contrarian clickbait takes. I surmise you know exactly the response people have, and you aim for it. I don’t even know if you’re serious or not with the many eye-rolling opinions you’ve expressed.

THe highs do. I loved the opener. “Napkins” is incredible. I have FF several times because it’s just... repeating the same thing over and over. Keep thinking they had one season and stretched it two. The big ending is like

Character driven, yes.

This season is just... So meandering. It would be different if the character development and character interactions/dialogue were more compelling. Some great episodes! It’s not a bad show!

Run the series is back! Hooray!

Negan and this moment sucked in the comics and sucked in the show. Kirkman has one trick in that state constantly increase the sadism. Does the same in invincible.

This was absolutely NOT a filler episode.

Incredible episode.

Butterfly is one of THE worst songs ever made.

ha, i’m gonna mess about with a leftie next time i’m at the guitar store. I think switching strumming hands will be okay, if sloppy (I’m not a shredhead anyway). But using my right hand for chord formations and shit...

I know it’s not going to make a lick of difference, but this is the definition of a “you” problem.

you just needed to say your life is really sad, if you can’t understand the emotional connect of music.

eh, i could probably manage okay, but each hand has VERY different muscle memory. It’d be almost like relearning.

it came out on video while i was working at a video store, just out of high school, and living on my own for the first time. my roommates and I were OBSESSED with the movie and soundtrack
