I mean... okay? You could not get past the pilot, so you didn’t see the terrific work he did as the season progressed. It’s as if there was a story arc and character progression. Why would I deny that Gunn loves sophomoric humour. Of course he does. ... So?

Thanks for replying, but based on the baffling essay buddy wrote in reply to me and then their reply to you, there is absolutely no conversation happening. Massively misunderstood Gunn’s storytelling and... a bunch of other things, has kk.

would be a radically departure from the comics. Actually sounds a lot like what Mark Waid did in Irredeemable. Would be a wild take, then focusing on the survivors trying to somehow take him out.

Oh, for sure. Ashley’s breathless “YOU’RE UP 21 POINTS!!! YOU SAY IT LIKE IT IS!” Starr deserves an Emmy. The way he performs all this is unreal.

I’m sure they made s3 with an eye to being an “ending” but leaving it open for a season 4. It’s just getting to a point where you’re like “yeah, why hasn’t he murdered all of our main characters exactly?”
