Mentioned it up above, great interview with McBride on Vulture. He talked about he didn’t want to leave the season on a cliffhanger, but rather wants each season to stand on its own. Or how back with eastbound and down, they approached every season finale as a possible series because they didn’t know if they would get

Eric andre delivers “Promise you won’t get mad? Them motorcycle fellas that shot your daddy? They work for me.” as if he was confessing to taking the last cookie.

Great interview on Vulture with McBride. He talks about the godfather influence; he’s not strictly making a godfather homage but you’re bang on, this is his “mafia movie.”

Adding to the Lyle piece: It wasn’t even *really* about the money for him. It was this weird sense of friendship and “helping Jesse out” that drove it, not just a paltry (for Lisson) ten mil. That conversation in the tent was outstanding. Eric Andre delivered it all so... I don’t even know the word. It was like two

BJ’s family glaring at him like WTF in the ending scene while BJ sings his heart out lol

y’know, i initially thought i would be disappointed if it was the Lissons —- but the cold open flashback dissuaded me of that.

what a fucking scene lmao

Grass type fave AND a cat yesss

ugggggh so stupid

Cosigned. And frankly history has borne out that Groening isn’t nearly the architect behind Simpsons or Futurama. He’s the creator, sure. He doesn’t really write. Sam Simon, James l Brooks, Al Jean were far more involved in the show becoming a goat comedy. Lots of articles and interviews about that. Futurama is far

This episode breezed but wow a lot happened.

Season 1 was nine as well, as were both seasons of vice principals.

Av club is a broken shell of its former self, but what is going on?

Really? What confirmed it for you? I agree Martin is a suspect, but nothing in particular stood out to me.

Mo Lamarche? John Dimaggio? Billy West? Frank Welker? Peter Cullen? Dan Gilvezan? Rob Paulsen? Tress MacNeille? Tara Strong? Cathy Cavendaugh? Harry Shearer? Hank Azaria? Jim Cummings? You got sources from THE ACTUAL WORKING VOICE ACTORS who do this as their career, all the time? Not just celebrities dropping in for a

I am a teacher. You have no idea or all of the ideas 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I sincerely doubt it.

Absolutely. I personally *like* the Darkwing theme more, but that’s because I like Darkwing more than ANY of the other stuff.

I liked the new Ducktales, but I think at times it tried *too* hard to be clever/meta/aware of its older audience. It didn’t quite thread the needle of “great kids show with shit only adults will get and works for bother audiences.” It’s still fine but just maybe a bit too self-aware.
