Yes. I remember marathon DD sessions where we played nothing but Baby Park over and over. I was so happy it made its way to MK8.

The army one!

It was bad though, too, wasn’t it?

I’m hard on it but if you treat it as a totally standalone game UNCONNECTED to CT in any way, it is a much better experience.

WHAT

Maybe Hulu wants to make it on the cheap.

That’s fair! I mean, the golden age of simpsons was a murderer’s row. I’m listening to the parks & rec podcast and they had a HELL of a writer’s room.

... whatever. ;)

I don’t think I will.

Yeah, I’m a bit like... uh, Amy’s always been verrrry sexual active. Criticisms to be made about the CC revival for sure, but that’s not OOC.

Ha. Those were the worst episodes of the CC stuff. The "topical" ones

The revival was largely folks from the original show and x Cohen still showrunning.

I don't think that is or will be the response this time. Rather... More fans are going to take the "no DiMaggio no point" side. The luster is dull and nobody is clamoring for more Futurama.

“I can't study, I'm making out with my Monroe bot!"

Ehhhhhhhhh

See, that kind of thing doesn’t really bother me. Futurama has more “continuity” than Simpsons, but it still plays fast and loose. Never let “continuity” get in the way of a good joke.

CC still had some stone cold classics, but I think your “uncanny valley” comment is astute. It just felt off. A lot of over-the-head bludgeoning with “messages” (Prop infinity, the religion episode, the gender swap episode); a lot of shockingly crude humour that wasn’t funny and felt completely off; and a lot of
