Yes. For millions —- yes, millions —- this kind of “cultural norm” and belief is entrenched and reinforced.

You...sound...uh...

Yep, you got it.

Sigh. This kind of comment is so dishonest. The bile and repetitive “go woke go broke” blah blah blah commentary is the dominant strain of most of the negative response. The review bombing. Etc. “No it’s just genuine criticism.”

I keep seeing reads like OP. Teela wasn’t necessarily kind and sunny, but I had the same read as you, or similar. Teela wasn’t “insufferable” or “egotistical” to me. She was fucking betrayed and grieving.

And. Their. Goddamn music suuuuucks.

And the THOUSANDS of diving headbutts that hurt him far more than his opponent...

Dunno. There’s the one guy downthread writing circles about how this is totally an honest response cos just maybe maybe. Whatever.

alien ant farm would have WORDS with you, sir!

Imo invincible often felt really poor quality in the animation

And? This is supposed to be a more serious take with a deeper storyline and character work.

I was really surprised how easy it was to get the good half of the sword back. Lol. Forging it was rad tho.

There may be some merit to your argument

So many tears in the greys ican’t even dismiss cause

Orko was still really annoying despite actually getting some development so...

Ooh, that’s an interesting aspect. Reboot was shockingly low episode count; season 1 was something like 8 episodes. Assuming the expense and time for the first full CGI show. Both reboot and beasties were joint productions between Canada’s YTV and an American network. Reboot with ABC and beasties for fox.

How I feel about most transformers fans. 🤣

You’re right. Surprisingly, orko grew on me, and the actor gave a terrific performance.

I enjoyed it overall but I didn’t buy that character’s choice in the last five minute, either. Disappointing. Will they do more with her? Likely, but depends on how.

I'm enjoying it but it was dumb when Duncan is about to tell her and evil-lyn cuts him off with "we don't have time for that!"
