This is the boat I’m in as well. Also, this is one thing, for me, that dismantles any “Serial” comparisons, because Sarah Koening presents the evidence to show guilt and innocence. She questions narratives and points out when people exaggerate or fib.

I actually shouted at my tablet the first time they showed the private investigator’s interview with Brendan where he just railroaded him into a confession. I was just like WHAT IS HAPPENING. I was so glad they revisited it later.

That transcript of the May phone call is right after Wiegert and Fassbender told him to tell his mom the “truth,” or else they would. I wouldn’t trust much of what he says in that one, at least in regards to what happened that day.

I think it’s possible that both Steven Avery was involved in her murder AND law enforcement acted in an unethical - actually CRIMINAL - manner by planting additional evidence to make sure they “nailed him.” I don’t know why so many people think these things are mutually exclusive.

And how is Obama going to pardon someone convicted of a non-federal crime? What B- civics student wrote that petition?

His own lawyer enraged me more than anyone. And that private investigator. They were responsible to this poor kid and they threw him to the wolves.

The one time I did “paint and sip”, the room next to us was a bachelorette party. They had cupcakes, wine, gaudy penis necklaces, tiaras, and the bride-to-be wore a sash.

Between this Mark Salling news and the ever present inconceivable support on twitter today for Bill Cosby, here is a picture of my puppy to cheer everyone up.

Yes, I am an old (I was in college in 97) and what was Emo in my day and now always confused me. But I guess that is the evolution of a genre.

It’s not a real Elmo revival until people are arguing over what true emo is. This really brings me back to message boards of yore!

This is not really emo at all

Holy cow, I LOVED Jets to Brazil! brb listening to ‘Cat heaven’ on repeat for the rest of my life.

Do you mean...how he’s making out these days?

2001 and 2000. Blink-182 isn’t an emo band.

Now playing

Yeah, emo when I was a teenager was Jawbreaker. I wasn’t much into the bands that came out five years later under the same name. It seemed so much of the 90’s punk scene split into either emo or screamcore as the 00’s rolled around. Wasn’t a fan of either and I went back into the 70’s and 80’s punk.

They released a couple albums in the mid 90’s, broke up, and then got back together in 98. I saw them with Texas Is The Reason when I was in high school, probably around 2000? Fauxhawks and chucks as far as the eye could see, what a time to be alive. I was never that into taking back sunday.

Yes. Braid, Promise Ring, Jets to Brazil >>> this mid 00s stuff.

I once saw Taking Back Sunday and Thursday in the same concert. We should get back together, you and I.

This just makes me feel old as fuck.

I declared it when I turned 30 this year. Nothing seems to be marketed towards me any more and I am slowly losing my grasp on popular music and slang. It’s depressing.
