one other thing: i think beyonce should have won. i like beck, but his record didn't move me like hers. still, be a good sport. beyonce was.

yeah, i watched it and i read the article. kanye made that moment about him. that's what will be reported on the morning shows, guarantee you. i like kanye's music. i think he's visionary in a lot of ways. but i find this kind of thing incredibly selfish.
this is not going to make me popular, but i'm just gonna go ahead and say it: i'm fed up with kanye. hey kanye, it's not always about you. he is the sorest loser-by-proxy i've ever seen. just LET someone have a moment. we can go back to you after that. christ.
dear god, really?! i had a friend try to give me one on my ankle when i was 19 and we had to stop before she was done because it hurt SO much. more than my real tattoos did! and now i'm 37 and i still have that sorry-ass half-"tattoo" on my ankle.
the 1:12 mark, tho!
their mom sounds so, so weary.
that's incredibly cute. :)
*thank you* for posting the sara jones piece. brilliant.
what bothered me first is the tweet that read "trashy bitch." that was what i was really responding to. but yes, they did call her out on her racist bullshit. unfortunately, that account is getting pretty dodgy - threats to others, photos of an arsenal. don't know who the arsenal belongs to. they might be referencing…
yeah, but they sort of put forth the threat of revealing the tape, then backpedaled by saying they wouldn't release anything other than stills of her face, then reassured everyone that yes, they are in possession of this tape that would destroy her public image once people cried out for more of that nonsense.
whoever was posting from that account did post screenshots of racist tweets she has posted. disgusting.
yes yes and yes. after i replied to this anon account, the kind of angry response i got from them and others kind of scared me a little. it really bothers me that standing up for women and POC and LGBTQ people means i have to endure this much shit. those who take a stand shouldn't have to deal with this type of…
indeed. i was definitely annoyed with the response i got.
btw - after a little bit of back and forth on twitter last night, some people finally joined in the critique of anon's methods. that was heartening.
so i was the one who initially called anon out for using a gendered slur. i generally think anon does good work when it comes to political activism. i asked them not to alienate their female supporters; you can see their defensive reply above. i also got pushback from anon supporters and people who were adamant that…
first of all, i want to thank everyone on the thread who openly discussed their experiences with sexual assault. it's incredibly sad to read, but you all make me feel less alone.
hey, thanks for linking to rainymood.com. LOVE IT.
yes, because hauling some twin mattresses to the dump is far more important than prosecuting a rapist. jeez.
i've seen those on Facebook, but didn't know there was a tumblr! thanks for the tip.
i haven't even read through all the comments here, but i could really just click the star on every post. you are all a goddamned delight.
