Shamefully true. Must be slim pickings when it comes to finding someone who isn't white but is also interested in pop culture. It's not as if it's there's a pool of 1.6 million African Americans in the Chicago metro area or anything.

It's just as bad or worse in feast or famine industries that have little objective standards of performance appraisal and rely heavily on networking. Look at the staff page for Variety, THR, or even the AV Club and count the number of people who are black, hispanic, or asian without "assistant" in their job title.

I hope so. Content like this is why I started visiting this site to begin with.

Thanks for the details. I was hoping there was oppo research from a source other than Eichenwald or the DNC.

Spill the details because it's hard to beat bragging about grabbing pussies, a lineup of women accusing you of sexual harassment or a string of bankruptcies that would shatter any illusions of being business savvy.

Are you referring to the small white dog that Sarandon is staring daggers at in the lower photo?

Good thing they don't show who keeps downvoting me.

Same was said of television. So Facebook spreads accurate information concerned with the truth for a change. What's the problem with that?

It's frustrating because I share her frustration with Devin Faraci style male feminists who preach respecting women but treat women horribly when nobody is looking.

The line for me is if the service is so aggressively bad that I make a note to never eat there again. If that happens: no tip. I won't try to flag down their manager, get passive aggressive with waitstaff or anything jerky. I'll just pay the bill to the number, leave and never return to that restaurant ever again.

Wasn't what drove the purges a post Daulerio wrote that said literally nothing except 'you will be banned if you comment on this post'? Or something like that. Sometimes I mix up stupid ideas that didn't happen with stupid ideas that did happen.

Whatever happened to alternative nation?

Even worse, arrogant and stupid. His assumed name under hiding was Joseph Sailer. He didn't even bother changing his initials. That's what sparked the American officer questioning him to ask if he was Streicher.

Aww crap, you're right. But I FEEL like Jackson's was the lead performance! Doesn't that count for something in this crazy post-truth alternative facts world?

He was onscreen in Pulp Fiction longer than Anthony Hopkins in Silence of The Lambs, which was what got Hopkins an Oscar for Best Actor. Jackson definitely was the lead actor of the final act of PF as much as Travolta was the lead of the Jack Rabbit Slim and overdose first act.

I'm iffy about Silence as a whole, but Kubozuka's performance was damn near the best part of that film besides Liam Neeson's first meeting with Garfield.

Shades of Samuel Jackson's nomination for Pulp Fiction. He sure as hell should've been placed in Best Actor but had to settle with Supporting. Unbelievable that he hasn't been nominated since then for Jackie Brown or Django Unchained.

They always have the greasy soft look of a teenager who has their masturbation techniques mapped out and diagrammed like a football playbook.

That podcast made me question whether I was losing my hearing. I had to crank the volume to 10 to even hear anything that was legible. The longer I listened the more I wanted to grab one of the hosts are scream "LOUDER! LOUDER!"

Hats off to you, sir.
