I love Alicia Keys but even I had to acknowledge the beauty of that shade. There's definitely some truth to it but whatever.

I'm aware. Also, something something Inspector Spacetime. The question isn't where but when.

And to think, he was only two light years from retirement.

Too on the nose, Dik.

For the love of God, stop. I'm actually trying to be productive today at work.

The other day I saw red carpet pics of Abigail Breslin all grown up and I had to sit down for a few minutes and think deeply about how many years have passed since Little Miss Sunshine and about how one day I'll get old and wrinkly and then just die or something.

And her non union equivalent Good Bloodmoon.

Godammit, I love Return of the Mack! When did that become a thing to like sarcastically? Damned hipsters! Damned Aziz Ansari and his amazing new show that I'm not all the way caught up on.

Coldplay is still the preferred starter band for a lot of broey-types I know trying finally to venture out into more soft-edged music. They're lame but I usually don't fault them for trying so long as they move on to other things in a timely fashion.

Honestly, I've come across some YA stuff that I've liked but it's pretty slim pickings for me. I do enjoy most of the film adaptations than I do the actual books they're adapted from. Something about this particular brand of YA just makes it easier for me write off completely. I'm sure the plot and actual story in

I clicked an ad for this book I saw on the av club and got to read a few pages on the book's website. I'm not really big on YA novels so take my opinion with a grain of salt but it'll take a really good writer to not have the main characters come off as annoying and obnoxious as they do in the novel.

Anyone else think the thing the man on the bridge whispered to Kevin is what ends up changing him? Also that whisper gave me flashbacks to the doctor at the CDC whispering in Rick's ear in TWD.

Right? Having only seen 2 Lost episodes myself, I kept thinking this is the most LOST episode of this show so far but I wasn't quite sure. Glad I was right although now I think I might have tv show esp or something.

Virgil says why he killed himsellf. Atonement. I'm guessing for what he did to make John almost kill him. I'm not saying he isn't still in magical Negro territory but I don't think you caught the true intent behind him killing himself.

Of course, someone like you would try to start a pun thread.

Apologies. I was just saying that to make a point and didn't mean for it to come across literally. Anyway, I definitely agree with you on the whole "by the numbers" thing but I feel like this week's episode at least spun everything into a cohesive whole in a way that previous episodes haven't been able to in a while.

Two things:

This show is a nighttime soap by definition. I have a long list of problems with the show but I feel like saying you really have no business watching it at this point if you have problems with the more soapy aspects of the show because those are the only parts that are actually done right most of the time.

Have you heard Boom(x4) - the greatest hip-hop song ever according to Empire? Thank your lucky stars if you haven't.

I've been low-key rooting for Anika all season. Shame the writers don't really know what to do with her.
