Is that in fact Game of Thrones' Nathalie Emmanuel or just some unwashed commoner bearing the same name?

"Understandably?"

JESUS GAVE ME THIS PRIVATE PLANE TO DO KINGDOM BUSINESS AND TAKING A WEEKEND SKIING TRIP ON IT TO ASPEN, COLORADO AFTER YESTERDAY'S ALL-DAY PRAYER SESSION IS KINGDOM BUSINESS, MARK!

I'm currently wrapping up my year of actually giving a shit about world issues on twitter.

Ugh… right up until she jumps the publishing dude but I guess that's more a fault of the writing of that scene. The episode briefly devolved into cartoonishness when that happened.

C'mon beema, whether or not he enjoyed it has no bearing on the fact that it was still rape.

I had a pretty standard religious upbringing and the things this episode had to say about "the human need for faith" scared me more than anything else because I've always suspected this with a good number of religious people I knew and grew up with.

I'm going to articulate this badly but here goes: this episode really had me thinking of what a shit-show it would be if one day, 1) definitive proof was made available to religious followers everywhere that the things they believe in are made up and 2) they actually accepted the proof and stopped believing in said

Ha! On a related note, my only criticism of The Martian is would it have really killed the casting budget and veered too far from the source material to reunite Troy and Abed in those scenes?

It's almost like you treat the actual words of these articles like most people treat dialogue in a porn film.

I expect that halfway into his sex scene, porn Troy pulls out prematurely and then just disappears for the rest of the scene.

I, like half the people who initially saw that tweet, thought it was a bit.

Just here for the Timothy Olyphant connection.

Fair enough. I actually enjoyed the back half of TD season 2 but maintain that Fukunaga is a genius and having him on hand would've definitely improved the overall end product.

Kelly Reilly's stellar performance going largely unnoticed was probably the biggest tragedy in season 2. I'll still defend Vince Vaughn's performance to some degree but having her play opposite him for most of the season made it so everyone was too busy focusing their criticisms on him to notice her.

Ha! I'm sure somewhere in Tortured-Genius-Writerland, Nic Pizzolatto is pinning a printout of this review along with your comment to his wall.

I usually don't judge a film by its trailer but come on… what part of the trailers for this didn't tell you already that it would be engaging to some degree in dour for dour's sake? I already had that feeling watching the trailers and determined that I would see it anyway because there's enough there (Fukunaga, Elba)

That escalated quickly.

Hi King.

Fuck everything.
