Is this a generational thing? As a cranky, former latch-key child of a non-helicopter mother, I find it puzzling that some “adults” make their parent’s relationships all about THEM.

Yeah that stuck out to me. The “pampering” she describes are all things many women do by default.
“Doing the laundry” is not “pampering” ffs. It’s doing the basics as a partner in a marriage.
Piece of shit cops. ACAB.
These are some severely emotionally wounded people who get triggered by the smallest things and go into pure animal response. I’m sure people like this tried the military but couldn’t hack the code of honor or having someone else giving them orders. The police force is literally the only place people like that can…
This cop and others enjoy their power/authority and seem to be almost offended if someone questions their instructions. Their training, hiring qualifications and culture needs to be changed.
I’m not one to promote physical violence, but it would be cool if there was a vigilante who roams the country severing the achilles tendons of all these abusive cops.
Don’t forget, “He’s going for your gun!”
It still blows my mind that , that is never pushed by anyone. “Those cops you love? Instead of a new school we paid out settlements to keep them on the force to do it again.”
Assuming when you say “they should be banned now” you mean the cops, then agreed. They have failed us for too long and for the last time.
I work for the government, and if I ever said “fuck” to a customer/townsperson, I would be written up. I might even be fired.
Sounds as though he was also asking this hewitt to please get off his neck. All three of those lying shits need to be fired and brought up on charges.
In a decent civilized society, an out of control psychopath like Charles Hewitt would never be given this kind of power to attack and abuse peaceful citizens.
It is practically pro forma, because smells don’t show up on camera so they can never be proven a liar on recordings. Although that may be changing soon, we’ll actually get scent recording cameras. They already exist, they just are not mass market yet.
Thompson is about to get some well-deserved compensation. Sorry, taxpayers of Virginia, but that guy who apparently works for you - Officer Adolf Tinydick - just cost you a lot of money. If the culture of racism and brutality among our police isn’t problematic enough for some people, maybe the millions of dollars in…
“The conduct displayed by Trooper Hewitt during the course of the traffic stop is not in agreement with the established standards of conduct required of a Virginia trooper. Nor is it characteristic of the service provided daily across the Commonwealth of Virginia by Virginia State Police personnel,”
“No marijuana found in the car?” Jeez, you’d expect the cop would try to plant some.
