You do a great job (maybe too good) of trying to understand trolls and trolling. Even going as far as pointing out that it has been a force for....."good"? But one point I'd make is that trolling can't really exist without a victim. And the victims, whether they realize it or not, are willful, at least as far as…

"I wonder if all the people who insisted that "MS will never remove Kinect integration! Kinect is the future!" will go ahead and eat their hats now."
I think you're probably getting warmer. But the question remains, do we really need a third powerhouse console? The only real argument I can see for your recommendation is that you'd like to buy only one console and have it be a Nintendo console. But even that won't likely work since then all it would do is shift the…
First of all, that image is fantastic, so props for that. Love it. Second, I meant AFTER they sell through the current stock of kinect bundles. But I think you're right. They'll add a kinectless SKU while maintaining the current bundle SKU. I would love to buy a white special edition kinectless edition.

I'm pleased with the news. Mostly because it means I'll be picking it up now. But also because it makes all the people attacking me for previously saying it would probably happen this year look silly.
I commented on this 3 times in the last 4 months, saying that "If xb1 sales continue to lag behind the PS4 and if MS' research shows that price is the main driver of that, MS's best option will be to unbundle Kinect and drop the price $100-$150". On average, my comments got 3-4 recommendations and 20-30 angry…
To be fair, saying it would never happen, doesn't make you a fanboy. It just makes you bad at business/math.
I actually got two already. But then again, I went back through my comments section and sent the link to everyone who told me I was crazy. The people who responded were the ones who had simply disagreed, but were not belligerent. None of the people who called me names have responded. I just think it's funny how many…
MS made the obvious right choice here. You say they should "create a market" but that' is the hardest thing a corporation can do. Companies are generally much better served by satisfying existing demands, rather than attempting to create new ones. Especially when their biggest competitor is winning by doing just that.
