Despite the positive and heartwarming implications of this procedure, this post still needs a nightmare fuel tag. Whoa...

@pjcard: I assume that during this strategic "shortage," Samsung clearly has first dibs on the AMOLED screens, so all the other companies are SOL.

@pjcard: The only competitor with AMOLED devices would be Samsung phones, so those people would be buying inferior products.

@Odin: Yeah, that's pretty much all a PSP is good for these days (apart from cool exclusives like Patapon). I hate carrying too many devices but a few sessions of Chrono Trigger & Secret of Mana on my N1 made me add the PSP back to the rotation. You just can't beat an actual d-pad with physical buttons.

@ChaosAlloy: I don't get it. If you're going to whip out a controller, why not just play the game on a TV?

Thanks, but I'll stick to my hacked PSP for emulator based gaming. It's already got all the NES, SNES, GBA, Genesis, & PS1 games that I love playing, and my cell phone battery is better off without the extra stress.

@atrus123: If you've got a G1 you should probably wait for T-Mobile's first official 3G+ phone, rumored to be the HTC Vision.

@Dapke36: I find that the lag on the HTC IME goes away if you turn off the haptic feedback, but maybe that's just me...

@Marcus Cadwell: Seriously though, the extra battery is a much better deal pricewise. At least you won't need cargo shorts or a satchel to carry your phone around.

I'd like to add LauncherPro, which I think is the best home replacement app. Very smooth and nice functionality.

I got my door kicked in and shit taken from my house and all I got was this person of the year nominati- wait, what? Really? Sweet!

@RoboticSpacePenguin: The rate plans on TMobile make ATT look bad. $20 for unlimited text messages is criminal in this day & age.

@dtptampa: Really? I'm on TMo, but I was always under the impression that ATT had a faster 3G network...

@fa11enSpectre: "Ditches" is misleading. The end of the exclusive deal doesn't mean the relationship would end, it just means they'd agree to see other people. It'd be more like an open relationship.

This makes more sense than a Verizon iPhone at this point in time. The network may be slower and have less coverage, but you can bet they'll bend over for Apple's demands. They could really use the cash infusion.

@Ron-Mexic0: If sales was the primary objective, wouldn't they have used their Super Bowl ad time to promote the phone?

@PoG: Shhhh! You're gonna ruin the fun for the anti-Android/Google crowd! Stop making that much sense!

They had to PhotoShop what was really going on but let he who can resist the urge for four player deathmatch - with Power Weapons* - at The Facility*, kindly STFU.

@Curves: That's the waitress from Perkins. Billion dollar athlete, dollar menu taste in mistresses.

@Curves: Replace "buxom" with "busted," for accuracy's sake.
