Historically speaking, when a currency is removed in Destiny, it’s to make room for three new kinds of currency. Still waiting with baited breath to see what all goes into weapon crafting. But as someone with 6 stacks of weapon parts (9999 per stack) and 3 stacks of mod components (999 per stack), I will not miss

Well fuck this.

Watching this live was the highlight of a week full of highlights. The most impressive part was him staying true through that bull fight. He died a few times, lost the buffs he was relying on, and still stuck it out for the win. Then he was cruising.

I always look forward to reading this article, even if it’s a sad day when the marathon is over. Still, never ceases to amaze.

I dunno. I’ll wait until they talk about the rest of the changes they’re making to weapons and detail the weapon crafting system in a couple of weeks and then decide how I feel about this. On its face it feels like the kind of thing that feeds the take economy and is then forgotten within a few months.

Argick is a treasure.

There used to be a lot more conditional dialogue tied to whether your account was a carryover from Destiny 1 or new with Destiny 2, specifically back in that Red War era. A lot of it was just simple comments from Ghost like “oh yeah we remember that” or “wow that is totally new information to my guardian and me.”

I just rolled credits on Death’s Door yesterday. I think it would make my list, too, though I’m not sure where to rank it...

The fly-in captions are all I want. I have a small amount of fun trying to guess what city I’m looking at, but yeah, not having a good sense of geography 6 episodes into a season is just frustrating. Just put the name on screen in the establishing shot.

Glad to hear this is good, but I’m still eager to see what Yacht Club does next, like post-Shovel Knight.

Throughout all the good press Bungie has gotten in the past, I had to wonder when a story like this was going to come out. I feel like this post takes the right tone by not describing these accounts as unsurprising. It’s frustrating that there can’t just be a company that already gets it, that doesn’t have to learn

Now this is a game a long time coming. Very curious to see how this one shapes up.

Word.

Giving non-exotic launchers Wolfpack rounds is a bonus, but Pack Hunter also gives you bonus reload speed and handling just for being near allies. Makes it feel great to dump rockets into a boss, as the Gjallar gods intended.

Yeah that’s pretty disappointing. I would hope it’s something they look into adding later on. I’m sure it’s not a quick fix. Nothing ever is anymore. But it’ll really come down to “is this the most important thing we could be working on right now?” And the answer will probably be “no.”

I was glad that the violet coating is at least an attractive purple (even with the distressed look). I was much less happy when I realized I couldn’t be a purple samurai.

To me, this is the biggest throwback that Halo Infinite is bringing. I honestly can’t remember the last time I engaged with a game that had this kind of cross-promotional marketing.

Wasn’t there supposed to be another studio breaking off from Motion Twin to keep developing Dead Cells content while the co-op got to work on new stuff? Is that not in the works or did they change their minds?

The headline made me think this was about the Remake guy, so I’m glad that’s not the case.
