Greydwarves are irritating enough that I would consider doing this and not even bothering to stick around for the resources.

Kirk rules. This cover is very strong.

As I have been all week, I shall be playing Valheim. My friends and I started on Sunday night and have been playing constantly since then, whenever we can. We’ve made it to the bronze age and are gearing up to take down the Elder. The past two nights I’ve been working on roadbuilding, pathing out routes to and from

I still don’t have a PS5 and wasn’t planning on getting one soon... Kinda hoping Tim Rogers is right and they announce a PC release for the same timeframe.

Reflecting on sunsetting, it feels like a system implemented specifically to get rid of Recluse, Revoker, and Mountaintop. Cool but not overpowered weapons like Loaded Question got caught in the crossfire, along with workhorse legendaries that we’ve been grinding for. And most baffling, armor was lumped into this

I still can’t believe the Switch shop doesn’t have music.

We’re still waiting on this year’s lengthy “State of the Game” blog post from Joe Blackburn or Luke Smith. It’s supposed to come out sometime this season, and I sure hope there’s a big section on PvP. If not, man I don’t know. At least say you don’t have anyone working on it right now. Beyond “looking at Behemoth” and

The Collapse and the Dark Age sound like two different shows. I feel like the former would have to come after more reveals happen in the game w/r/t the Darkness. The latter would be really cool, though. Lore entries talking about the newly Risen, Warlords vs. Iron Lords, etc. are always awesome.

Oh it’s definitely possible that it would be something totally different. Though I’m not sure what that looks like from a staffing perspective. My basic understanding is that studios hire people who are good at what they need, so most of the people who work there probably have a lot of experience working on shooters.

My friends and I were chatting about this yesterday. “Expansion into other media” sounds mainly like books and TV to me (I hope they do animated if they go down that route). As a fan of the game, it’s mostly encouraging that they’re doing as well as they seem to be after going independent. And as a fan of the studio,

Nathan, this may be your finest work. Your sacrifice was worth it.

This reminds me of the KEK hunter arms incident from the game’s launch. Those got addressed and removed. I’d like to think this will be, too.

I finished my Nightmare playthrough of DOOM Eternal and have also completed a replay of DOOM 2016 in Nightmare difficulty, and I am a little surprised to say that, in spite of a poor first impression, I am a full Eternal convert. I think it is the better game, hands down. The change in art direction is something

I can feel this game’s presence everywhere. Friends of friends have been playing it. The other night, one of my friends dropped the trailer in our Discord server. It’s only a matter of time.

The music for the first boss fight in the Train Graveyard against the Ghoul has to be one of my favorite new tracks. The Whisper’s theme is also pretty good.

This is true for step 1 of acquiring the catalyst, but! The next step specifically says to defeat guardians with the bow. And so I am tested. But that’s ok. I’ve recently switched to playing on PC (before I was on PS4), and I need the practice.

I really like the new exotic bow. Trying to get kills with it in PvP so I can unlock the catalyst is definitely a test, though.

The worst part about this is that unlike Kevin Hart, she’s actually a great fit for the role.

Best of luck, Steven. Thanks for uplifting me from the greys.

I’m expecting to play a fair bit of Destiny next week when the new season starts, so hopefully I will finish my nightmare run of DOOM Eternal before then. I’ve been breezing through it, somewhat surprisingly. Playing on ultra-violence was good preparation for me in that I remember what demons will spawn and when in
