Never even heard of this. Looks like it could be good.

I always thought this game looked like fun, but my trepidation over rogue-likes stayed my hand when I thought about buying it (That and the poor switch optimization, which I think is resolved now). Hades has cured me of that, though, so I might look into grabbing this soon since I’m wrapping up several of the games

My mom was mostly fine with them. Sometimes she’d vent some frustration on me for playing games instead of doing [insert some chore] here. But I made good grades, and I never played games without having done my homework or stuff like that. If it was the weekend and I was playing games all day, she would sometimes make

let me guild my chronicler title, dammit

I’ve always liked the idea of keeping the older dungeons relevant, but I wish they had a more exciting way of doing so. Also, 2 of the 8 reissued weapons are arc rocket launchers, and that’s on top of the arc rocket launcher from Europa. Rocket launchers ain’t even good! C’mon, man.

I saw Coheed live once and they played a cover of that Gotye one-hit wonder. Claudio is the man. I should pop into his stream next time he goes live.

Good luck to you. I had 5438 deaths on Farewell. It took a lot of learning.

I’ve got a couple.

Yeah I did this a year or two a go and it’s definitely helped. If I want to play something, I buy it when I actually am going to play it. If it’s not on sale, whatever. Removing everything from my Steam wishlist helped a lot here.

Not sure I realized it before reading this, but I’m probably going to get that remastered trilogy. Especially since I never had any of the DLC for ME3. I also fucked up romancing at basically every turn and wound up having romanced the secretary girl in the end.

“You can now hear the Final Fantasy VII prelude playing automatically in your head.”

I’m a bit torn on the best thing I’ve gotten, but the worst was probably a copy of Snood for the GBA. Yes, Snood.

This was fun! It took me a couple of tries but I managed to eke out a win on Very Hard. I swear he was straight up dash-dancing on me a few times. He kept getting me with the damn shadow flare, too.

Sony ain’t gonna fuck around with this.

Now playing

First track that comes to mind that fits a similar niche is Shiver City from Paper Mario 64.

I haven’t played some of the newer games on this list, but the Frozen Wilds DLC from Horizon Zero Dawn has what I feel like is some of the best snow in a video game. By extension, I guess the snow in Death Stranding is also very good? Same engine after all.

The GOTY medley at the end of the show was also rad.

It’s just so early.

I don’t want to say this is exactly what I expected to read about this game, but it sounds a lot like what I imagined I would be reading about this game. From these impressions, it sounds like a game I’ll have fun playing. Just not right away.

Gonna do a lot of reading and listening to what people have to say about Cyberpunk. I don’t have time for that game right now anyway, but I want to know what the game is actually like after weathering the marketing (and the discourse around that marketing) to this point.
