Now you've got us wondering what was in the package.

You know, keeping your wallet in your back pocket doesn't mean sitting on it.....

I think it's time for another hive five for smart phone security apps. A lot has changed since the last time I looked over the options, and now I'm not even sure where to start. I've been using seekdroid, but I'm not very happy with it.

    VOTE: Dynadot

I've used it for my last 3 or 4 runs (3-4 miles each) and haven't had any problems. I only wish I could get the nice voiceover lady to speak more quickly so I can get back to what I was listening to.

Ok, this is the worst and most annoying system ever. I just spent 15 minutes trying to post one comment, and finally it emails me and lets me comment but tells me that I need to convert my account, which I have tried numerous times to do (with different google accounts).

It took me about 4 tries to get this to work, fwiw. If your comments drop off it's because of this annoying decision.

Then there are those of us on regional carriers (US Cellular rocks!) who are always going to be 6 months behind the big players, so holding out for 6 months for the "next generation" phone really means holding out 12 months or more.

It's a lot more complicated than "should be planned for" for anybody who has his own business, tho. Granted, they should know that their $10k monthly draw is going to result in taxes, but most real small business owners will end up owing at least half of the time and having to pay it down (of course a credit card is

No, it's a known issue. I don't know what causes it for some people and not for others, but if you google it, you will find it going back a few years. And it was discussed in the comments here and on slashdot.

I love that adobe's download page for the beta build says that it's not for any "mission-critical work." I'd hope flash wouldn't be in any mission-critical work for anybody!

Personally, I don't think there's any difference between enrolled agents, cpas, and unenrolled tax preparers, other than price. Cpas can sign audits, etc, that the unenrolled tax preparer can't sign, but that also means cpas cost more.

Dropsync does this, although when you first install it you do have to tell it where the photos are, but that's because it will sync anything, one way or two, to dropbox (I keep my titanium backup folder synced as well). It will sync over just wifi or wifi and 3g, and it will sync immediately or on schedule, and you

Is that what that is? I have been fighting that bug for weeks, and it makes me want to throw my computer out the window! Might try flashblock to see if that fixes it.

It's just that you have to pull out your phone and open the app every time you log in to lastpass. But once the authenticator gets a spot on your phone's homescreen, you get used to just pulling out your phone when you start your computer. And it really does make me feel like those piles of usernames and passwords are

I've been using LastPass with the google authenticator for a few weeks now. At first it was a huge adjustment and hassle, but now I don't mind at all, and I do like feeling more secure, even if it is with yet another google product.

I tried it for a while until I realized that it was actually slowing me down, because I'd check priority first and then open up the labels list to see what other mail I'd gotten. The only real upside for me is telling my phone not to alert me for anything that's not important.

If they open up by saying they are short on rent again, either they are crying for help or they are asking for money. In either case, it can't hurt to talk budgets as long as you're not condescending. And if they are asking for money and have a history of asking for money, maybe condescending isn't so bad.

I tend to do a lot of rom and kernel installing on my phone, and I find that once every few months I need to start afresh - wipe the whole thing including the (backed up) sd.

I can't imagine there's not a way to do this, but I can't think of how off the top of my head. Perhaps with CM or another rom? Or by asking on their boards?
