So it just compares prices between barnes and noble, amazon, and apple?

@Aipaloovik: Yeah, but those programs do far more. All I want is the simple turning off of wifi when I'm not going to be using it.

How is Spotify different/better than Mog? or Rdio?

After a few days of using Swiftykey, I am feeling very predictable.

I've used the stock keyboard and swype, but as soon as I tried this I was hooked. Yes, it needs work, but it's still amazingly fast and easy, and the devs are working on it.

Swype is fun and fast, but I always end up with a lot of typos that I don't notice in time to fix.

@Shadow-Lurker: You don't double tap it. The cursor just needs to be in or beside the word and then you hit the swype button.

Tomato and ddwrt routers can be set to automatically reboot, so I have all of my routers reboot every day at 6 am to start the day afresh.

@Lauren@Springpad: Can you turn off that feature? Or pay to have it removed?

@Lauren S: With all due respect, I don't like that. I don't like that my content is not mine or that you would insert advertisements into my notes to myself. Thank you but no thank you.

From their website: "We'll enhance your stuff with useful links and offers to save you time and money."

The problem with all of these services is they're too cheap. For them to really make money off of us, they have to find various ways to save money. Mozy saves by not really being unlimited (you can't back up network shares or external hds that are disconnected). Also, you don't have that much control over what is

@shkm: Last I checked "unlimited" only meant drives permanently attached to your computer - not network shares or external harddrives (unless it's permanent). So "unlimited" is a bit of a questionable term.

@spidermedic: Yeah, I definitely prefer xscope, too. The whole interface/experience is better. And yeah, much more and you might as well use your computer.

@AmishJohn: Yeah, I stay away from them, and I'm surprised Lifehacker would provide them with free advertising.

@thepcguy: I can't recall the last time I had this happen, either.

@Unionhawk: We ought to have a poll on average tabs open. I've got 23, plus 4 in chrome.

I've had POS Toshibas and Dells, and I'd like to know if there is a decent computer manufacturer out there.

@Mc837: I've had two Toshibas, and they were both trash. One of them broke repeatedly and I ended up ditching it when the hd failed after two years.
