I just put a steering box in an old Ford Ranger. I haven't used non-metric tools in so long I barely remembered they existed. I did the whole job with an adjustable wrench, a 3/8" line wrench, vise grips, and a "close enough" metric socket.

@godfathercorvette: It may not be any more correct than the other way as long as the venting isn't directional, but I agree with your assessment that it's counter-intuitive.

Dude. Lamborghini Cygnet.

@Scorpio GTX1: Nicely done. This was about what I was going to say, but claiborne beat both of us to it. And his was much funnier, the bastard.

@crinklesmith: Yeah; only goes to show how complicated ecosystems are when you consider the big picture.

Well, the Toronado kind of looks like it's sizing up how you'd taste with some BBQ sauce.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Everyone in Dallas should be in jail.

This guy sounds like he could sell you a bunch of crack pipes. And I think the new Beetle is one of the ugliest cars...

@crinklesmith: Yeah, well, the market pressures and subsidies aren't their fault. That's the fault of Cargill, and incompetent politicians passing legislation written by Cargill. And farmers actually have been making money the last couple years. But someone needs to teach them about runoff prevention. And fast.

Even before the oil spill, there were huge dead zones at the mouth of the Mississippi because of agricultural runoff. This is hundreds of times more dangerous than the oil, because it shows no signs of stopping for decades. It's going to take a 50-years-overdue systemwide reform of American farming and fishing

I don't even care anymore. I was having enough trouble keeping track of the models they already had.

Comhghairdeas! Maith thú!

@ManBehindTheDesk: I might have got them. Were they all in Korean, in Kim Jong-Il's voice, talking about soccer plays?

So that's the explanation for all the boring windspeed readings I was picking up on my fillings the other day....

@rev_junkie: I agree, in part. These luxuries do have their place on $200k cars, obviously. Lamborghini should feel free to make plushy GT cars with all that crap on board if they want to. Put in a wet bar and a pool for all I care.

Hah. I was gonna make a joke about how their products suck and they should be powering the trucks with one of their outrageously deadly food additives. Then I remembered I can't live without my BBQ chips. You know the ones I mean; in the black bag.
